2006 Stateline Friends Weaving Retreat

Interested in weaving a pumpkin-themed basket for this fall/Halloween? Visit me at the Stateline Friends Weaving Retreat, Wayne County Fairgrounds, Kuhlman Center building, in Richmond, IN. The name "Stateline Friends" comes from the forming of our retreat among friends who both live on the Indiana/Ohio state line. Woven on a wooden base, this "Great Pumpkin" basket is sturdy and functional. Shown here with a fall theme using the wooden pumpkin, students may elect to alter the season or look of the basket by choosing from an assortment of different embellishments available. This class is suitable for beginners with basic weaving skills. Shaping will be stressed. More experienced weavers may not need the full class time allotted. The basket is 11" diameter by 7" high. Special tools needed: Basic tools. All levels are welcome! The class is six hours and costs $40. Don't miss it!
